
IPAMA Founded in 1988, IPAMA is today in the centre-stage, playing a pivotal role in the policy making of exports and imports, in collaboration with Government Agencies, CII, FICCI and FIEO.
The Association represents 80% of the industry. With little over 226 members on its roster, IPAMA is recognised by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The Association represents the Manufacturing Sector on the Development Council for Printing Industry and is also on the Consultative Committee of the Commerce & Industry Ministry. As an active member of the Committee for Indian Standards for Printing Industry, under the aegis of Bureau of Indian Standards, IPAMA played a very vital role in formulating standards for Indian products related to printing and packaging industry. The guidelines laid down by the Bureau for standardisation of printing machinery and other allied products, were subscribed by IPAMA. Today, Indian products have largely earned global acceptance mainly due to IPAMA's efforts.

- Organising exhibition in collaboration with ITPO
- Dissemination of information.
- Finding new avenues of market.
- Organising specialised Trade Exhibitions, Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, etc.
